Summary
The overall purpose of Water in a Box is to provide sustainable, clean and bacterial-free water to needy areas in the world, thus improving public health, reducing poverty and creating cultivable areas using seawater.
The project will test and verify technical solutions for a mobile, flexible and solar-powered concept. A prototype of a Water in a box will be demonstrated in a real environment at Ekeby wetland in connection with the Eskilstuna wastewater treatment plant, as well as at an international test bed in Spain.
