English 3, American Literature and Eco-criticism
This is an American literature course for anyone who enjoys reading good literature on his/her own. The reading list includes classics by Twain, Hawthorne, and Hurston, as well as contemporary works by Tyler, Erdrich and Eugenides. The examination is oral, except for a short essay.
