About MOMDU
Teaching takes place in a time-honoured environment at Västerås Castle, where you have free round-the-clock access to specially adapted practice and teaching rooms. The Castle is located within walking distance to the Concert Hall, Theatre, the Central Station and the City Centre.
Around fifty concerts and performances every year
In common with all our courses and study programmes, many teaching hours take place in an inspiring environment, with a focus on individual development as a soloist as well as playing in chamber music groups. With around fifty concerts and opera performances every year, you will have optimal opportunities to learn to perform in front of an audience.
Teachers with international experience from the greatest stages
The teachers have extensive and international experience, both as musicians and teachers, as well as a wide network of contacts within the field. We collaborate with Västmanlandsmusiken, Västmanland Theatre and Västerås Cathedral, for example and you will have the opportunity of attending final rehearsals free of charge with the Royal Opera in Stockholm and the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
