The specific entry requirements are stated in the course’s syllabus. In the syllabus, you can see what prerequisites you need in order to successfully participate in the course. If you meet the entry requirements, you can be admitted to the course.
If you do not meet the entry requirements, you will be either “conditionally admitted” or “rejected”
If you become “conditionally admitted” to a course, you will be given additional time to complete the entry requirements before the start of the course. Once you meet the entry requirements, the conditional admittance will be removed. This will enable you to register for and participate in the course.
If you are unable to complete the entry requirements before the start of the course, you can apply for an exemption.
Once you have filled out the application, leave it in the School’s mailbox outside the Student Centre. The application must be submitted a certain time before the start of the course. If you are uncertain about the deadline for submitting the application, please contact the School responsible for the course. The School will decide whether the application can be approved or rejected.
If your application for exemption is approved, you can register for and participate in the course. The School will give you notice whether you should register to the course in Ladok, on your own, or if the School will do it for you.
If your application is rejected, you are welcome to contact the Study Advisor at the School for a meeting regarding your studies.
