Research

After undergraduate studies in English and French and doctoral studies in English linguistics (with a strong focus on translation), I completed my PhD thesis on the dubbing and subtitling of language play in film at Karlstad University (Sweden) in 2005. The thesis can be downloaded here:

In recent years, I have dedicated some of my limited research time to English language teaching and learning, from primary via secondary and upper-secondary to tertiary level, as reflected in some of my more recent publications.
