More positive news from UKÄ
May 21, 2015 | Education
More positive news has now reached us from UKÄ (the Swedish Higher Education Authority). After carrying out several measures for improvement, MDH’s Bachelor of Science degrees in Aeronautical Engineering and Energy Engineering respectively have received the assessment of high quality, and thereby the degree-awarding powers are saved.
UKÄ has the task of evaluating the quality of all higher education programmes leading to a degree. The news recently reached us that MDH’s Bachelor’s degree in Innovation Management maintains high quality. Regarding MDH’s Bachelor’s degrees in Aeronautical Engineering and Energy Engineering respectively, UKÄ gave on their first evaluation the assessment of deficient quality. Since then, MDH has carried out several measures for improvement, and has submitted a report on these to UKÄ.
The positive news has thus now reached us that the two Bachelor’s degrees in Aeronautical Engineering and Energy Engineering respectively maintain high quality, and thereby the degree-awarding powers are secured.
- The last few days’ rulings from UKÄ are very positive and prove that MDH’s degree programmes maintain high quality. The rulings also show that all of us together at MDH can take vigorous action when it comes to improving and raising the quality of our study programmes. This is really very pleasing, says Vice-Chancellor Karin Röding.
