Apr 05, 2019 | Education Student

MDH has the second largest increase in the number of admitted students among all Swedish universities, according to statistics from UHR. The number of admitted fee-paying students has also increased.

There are 55 percent more admitted students to the English taught Master’s programmes and 78 percent more admitted fee-paying students compared to last year. The number of programmes in the admission round is 14. The programme with the highest number of admitted students is the Master’s in International Marketing with 47 students.

– It’s gratifying that more international students choose us for their Master’s education. Our communication with the applicants indicates that many of them are aware of our eminent research within several areas, among other Embedded Systems and Future Energy. An increasing number of international students on campus provides more opportunities to internationalisation at home, which is part of our internationalisation efforts, says Paul Pettersson, Vice-Chancellor at MDH.

Some of the increase is a result of the university offering two new educations this autumn, the Master’s Programme in Public Health Science within Health and Welfare and the Master’s Programme in Physiotherapy with specialisation in Behavioural Medicine within Health and Welfare

All programmes are still open for late application on  universityadmissions.se universityadmissions.seand students from within the EU/EEA can also apply in the second application round.
