Master's programme in Sustainable Energy Systems
Your cutting-edge expertise will be required in the transition from fossil to renewable energy sources and in order to meet the requirements of society utilising the energy in a more efficient way. As an engineer within the energy field you are attractive on the professional market. You could land a position as project manager or plant engineer in Sweden or abroad.
The programme will provide you with cutting-edge knowledge in techniques utilising the sun, wind and biomass as energy sources. You will among other things learn more about
- production of power and heat by way of energy conversion based on steam and gas turbine processes
- performance analyses of different energy systems and process integration
- methods for optimisation, modelling and simulation of energy systems.
This Master's programme is hosted by the Future Energy research group, which together with strategic partners is one of the leading research groups focusing on energy systems and process optimisation in Sweden. Mälardalen University transfers the latest research results to the education in this Master's programme. You will thus be well prepared for a future career at the forefront of the technological development in energy engineering and research.
The programme is entirely in English.
