The Programme

International marketing provides you with a capability to comprehend and operate within the globalised world by understanding the surrounding environment of organisations as well its impacts on society as a whole.

The International Marketing programme aims to develop the skills needed for successful collaboration within and between multinational groups.

The one-year programme provides you with an understan­ding of management and the strategy of international business, as well as different kinds of marketing. The programme is designed to enhance your knowledge, and capabilities through traditional lectures, reading scholarly pieces, discussing in seminars, searching for information and making analyses in various projects, practice hands-on approaches in volatile business games, as well as preparing you for work in an international environment. Apart from taking a final written exam, you will also be evaluated during seminars, and through several projects. Thus, your training as an international marketer and international business professional starts in the classroom where you need to be active and present.

For this reason, presence through the programme is mandatory, and assignments cannot be substituted with other tasks. All the assignments will be presented in writing and orally at seminars. During which, students will peer-re­view and scrutinise each other’s works.

All teaching is in English.

Employment and Future Prospects

The designed curriculum serves to develop capabilities and training for marketing officers and marketing managers within a small, medium-sized, and multinational enterprises in both B2B and B2C tasks. You are prepared for a career in the private sector as well as public or non-profit organisations in diverse and multi-cultural environments.

International Marketing programme will provide you with the skills needed to collect and process information for mana­gement decisions and the ability to analyse problems in new or unfamiliar environments, as well as a good understanding of central concepts and theories in the field of interna­tional marketing and business. These are equally relevant for a company career as for the higher education and doctoral studies.


MDH has been granted the EFMD accreditation for the the Bachelor’s programme in International Business Management and the Master's programme in International Marketing.

EFMD Programme Accreditation System is an international accreditation system that evaluates business programmes at bachelor’s and master’s level. To become accredited is an indication that the programmes maintain high quality and stand up well from an international perspective.

    A completed Bachelor's degree from an institution of higher education of three years or more, equivalent to at least 180 credits and with a major in the field of Business Administration. A TOEFL test result, minimum score 575 with a TWE score of at least 4.5 (PBT) or 90 with a TWE score of at least 20 (iBT) or an IELTS test result with an overall band score of minimum 6.5 and no band score below 5.5 or equivalent is required.
