About me

I joined the faculty at Mälardalen University after receiving my PhD in social psychology from Miami University of Ohio (USA) in 1997. I received my M.A. in general psychology from the University of Dayton (USA) in 1993, and my B.S. in psychology from Elizabethtown College (USA) in 1987. I conduct research on self-serving bias, persuasion, social motivation, and attribution as well as gender and leadership in collaboration with colleagues in Sweden, Germany, Finland and the United States. I teach courses in social psychology, consumer psychology, research methods and statistics, and acts as adviser for student theses in diverse areas of social psychology.
