Now it’s more important than ever to do some exercise. That’s why we’re launching Pluggpeppen! A competition where you and your fellow programme friends challenge other programmes at MDH by working out and scoring points on an app. Running, yoga, swimming, weight training or going out with the dog – whatever you do you’ll help your team to climb up the table. And not least: pep, challenge and push each other to manage just a little bit more!

Pluggpeppen!

Just now it’s more important than ever to do some exercise.

On 17 May we’ll announce the winning programme. But everybody wins of course, because everybody becomes smarter, happier and has more fun by being active. So make an effort and get off the sofa, because we’re starting now!

I’ve got stuck on the sofa! How does the competition work?

There are a lot of us who know how the lazybones in us easily gets the upper hand. The sofa is really comfy. So to make it a bit easier to get going we’re using the workout app paceUP! that you download on AppStore or Google Play. There you record your physical activities, pep your mates and collect points.

Can I do what I want?

All your workouts are converted into health points so it doesn’t matter if you like running, biking, yoga, walking or other activities. Everything counts. Apart form that the app takes into account your own age and body type, which means that everybody can collect health points on equal terms. Good isn’t it?

What if I want to be anonymous then?

Your personal details are NEVER shown to others, but we need them to be able to work out your health points. If you don’t want to give us your details you will still be able to take part. In that case you will be given an average person’s data. And you decide yourself whether you want your activities to be visible or not.

– I’m up for it! When do we start?

You can register your activities from 6 April, and the winner will be announced on 17 May.

The winner is....

Pluggpeppen is an initiative by MDH to, in a pleasant way, inspire the programme students to be more physically active during the pandemic. The competition has now ended. The winning team is Robotikingenjörerna – and Eskilstuna City Mission gets a donation from Volvo CE.

Pluggpeppen
