To live with dementia in daily life and at end of life. A study based on participatory observations at care homes in Japan and Sweden

This is a research and development study of how life is experienced by persons living with dementia at care homes in Japan and Sweden. What is good care and how is it created for persons living with dementia, from their own, next of kin´s and care staff´s perspectives? What occurs in relationships and interactions between persons having dementia, their next kin and care staff? This will mainly be studied through participatory observations in the flow of daily life.
