KPI2030: Sustainable KPIs and indicators for facilities

KPI2030 is initiated by Stockholm City’s Forum for Sustainable Facilities with the goal to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and indicators for sustainable and energy- efficient buildings. The project applies a service-dominant logic perspective that focuses resource integration between actors. It also integrates ideas from ‘green leases’ and triple-bottom line principles that consider environmental, social and economic sustainability.

The project builds on participants from several leading real estate companies and their tenants and it apply a systems perspective to property management. The KPIs will evolve around efficiency and productivity whilst the indicators specify value. The results of this work will impact practice along with policies, rules and regulations and the project incorporate the latest global research which also support that the findings are diffused internationally.
