By the KLOSS project we want to create an arena in which institutions support each other in efforts to design and implement new methods, tools and models for long-term collaboration that will strengthen research, education and development.

he MEMIMAN project primarily aims to improve industrial waste management in the metalworking and automotive industry. The idea is to assess how different future scenarios will affect industrial waste management, and then to incorporate this knowledge into the current waste management practice.

A manufacturing strategy for tomorrow’s successful industry has to consider an entire new set of aspects influencing the design of the manufacturing footprint. This research project will create a decision support model for efficient localisation by integrating aspects from the production system portfolio, the product portfolio life cycle and manufacturing performance into a combined valuation in economic terms.
