  • In this project we will study theories and methods for probabilistic modelling, analysis, and prediction of control-system software executing in resource-constrained embedded systems.

  • The project Component Technology for Heavy Vehicles (HEAVE) is a three year project where MdH will cooperate with Volvo Construction Equipment (Eskilstuna) and CC-Systems (Uppsala/Västerås) in order to enable the use of modern Component Based Software Engineering (CBSE) techniques within the industrial segment of heavy vehicles.

  • ITS-EASY is an industrial research school in Embedded Software and Systems, affiliated with the School of Innovation, Design and Engineering (IDT) at Mälardalen University (MDH), as an integrated part of the MDH strategic research area Embedded Systems (ES).

  • ImmerSAFE is a four year (2018-2021) H2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network that brings together 9 beneficiaries and 5 partner organizations from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Croatia, Italy, and Switzerland, with the aim of training a new generation of multi-disciplinary experts, who have an understanding of the core imaging technologies, the requirements set to them by the safety-critical applications and who can account for the human user in the design of such systems.
