Principal study continuation course
The aim of the courses is for students to enhance their musical knowledge and instrumental/vocal techniques and skills as well as enhancing and developing their artistic expression towards an increasingly personal and independent approach.
Instruments and Voice
Principal study, continuation course, is intended for you who are already a qualified musician or a teacher at an advanced level. Here you are given the chance to plan your lessons, together with your principal teacher, in a flexible way that suits your daily life, and where you are also given the greatest opportunities to improve your musical and technical skills in your principal study. The course consists of individual coaching with your principal teacher, with a quota of 14 hours coaching per semester, individual teaching with pianist coach, joint lessons as well as opportunities to perform at concerts.
You will study some parts of the course jointly with the students at the Chamber Music programme and the Chamber Opera programme. Participation is also possible when there are masterclasses, seminars, ensembles, and Art Song seminars for singers and pianists.
You will study the course one semester at a time and can study up to eight semesters altogether.
Specialisation in Vocal study
This half-time course is intended for you as a singer who already have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree but wish to continue to raise your highest level. You will be given vocal coaching, joint lessons, performance practice and the opportunity to perform at concerts.
