​Freshwater is the planet's most important resource, and it is necessary to sustain life, cultivate food and generate power. However, today we face many challenges regarding availability and supply of freshwater. In this course you will learn about these challenges, and how freshwater ecosystems can be impacted by various factors, such as human activities. You will learn about the hydrological cycle, freshwater quality, pollution sources, and different treatment technologies to produce drinking water.
