Numerical Analysis is a branch of Applied Mathematics, i. e. the Mathematics utilized to solve practical problems appearing in Science and Technology. Many mathematical problems have no exact solutions. By numerical methods you can compute approximative solutions. Computers with softwares are important tools. The most important areas are Numerical Linear Algebra and numerical solving of Differential Equations. In this course we also treat solving equations, interpolation and computation of integrals.
