Continuing professional development with FutureE

Mälardalen University offers online courses in the areas of AI, Environmental and Energy Engineering, Software and Computer Systems Engineering.

The courses are given at master's level to students and professionals in the manufacturing industry who have an academic background.

By these courses attendants can access the expertise of two of MDU's strongest research environments - Embedded Systems and the Future Energy Center.

The courses are developed together with national and international companies where the companies contribute with their expertise and experience. The collaboration ensures that the course content is relevant for both professionals and students heading for work positions.

The online courses are module-based, without physical lessons and flexible in time, which is attractive to students and professionals who live in countries in a different time zone.


The distance course in Ambient Air Quality Management gave Eleonora an international perspective

-Thanks to me having completed this particular course I have now been given a chance to take part in a project to build up an air emission database for Västmanland County Air Quality Association, says Eleonora Bru. She has taken the distance course Ambient Air Quality Management at MDU.

Embedded Systems

The research of MDU Embedded Systems is ranked internationally among the best in the world and the researchers are working to set the standard for the embedded systems of the future.

The researchers focuses on developing the technology used to control various products such as cars, robots and machines.
