Competence development with FutureE

Mälardalen University offers online courses in the areas of AI, Environmental and Energy Engineering, Software and Computer Systems Engineering.

The courses are given at master's level to students and professionals in the manufacturing industry who have an academic background.

By these courses attendants can access the expertise of two of MDH's strongest research environments - Embedded Systems and the Future Energy Center.

The courses are developed together with national and international companies where the companies contribute with their expertise and experience. The collaboration ensures that the course content is relevant for both professionals and students heading for work positions.

The online courses are module-based, without physical lessons and flexible in time, which is attractive to students and professionals who live in countries in a different time zone.

The Knowledge Foundation

The FutureE project is co-financed by The Knowledge Foundation within the framework of the program NU - Network-based education for international positioning.

The Knowledge Foundation finances research and competence development performed in collaboration between between academia and industry, in order to strengthen Sweden's competitiveness.

The Future Energy Center

The research of the MDH Future Energy Center is one of Sweden's strongest research environments in process optimization aimed at the process industry and the energy sector.

The researchers develop innovative solutions and tools in the areas of energy, construction and environmental technology.

Embedded Systems

The research of MDH Embedded Systems is ranked internationally among the best in the world and the researchers are working to set the standard for the embedded systems of the future.

The researchers focuses on developing the technology used to control various products such as cars, robots and machines.
