MDU offers a wide range of courses for professionals in both business and the public sector.
The courses are developed in collaboration with a large number of companies and/or public organizations based on concrete competence challenges and real needs.
The content in the courses is based on scientific basis and proven experience from both business and the public sector.
The FutureE project
Mälardalen University offers online courses in the areas of AI, Environmental and Energy Engineering, Software and Computer Systems Engineering. By offering employees competence development via FurtureE, companies can access the expertise of two of MDU's strongest research environments - Embedded Systems and the Future Energy Center.
The Premium project
In the Premium project, MDU offers customised courses for tomorrow’s industry. MDU wishes to provide the conditions for driving sustainable and smart production in Sweden, and has produced a customised CPD (Continuing Professional Development) programme.
The Prompt project
Mälardalen University offers online courses in the areas of Applied AI, Software Engineering and Computer Systems Engineering. The courses are on master's level and adapted for software developers and engineers.
MOOC and open seminars
MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) are courses that are open to everyone, regardless of background or professional occupation. They do not require any prior knowledge and you can start and complete them whenever you want. The courses are given online and are completely free of charge.
