Title: Implementation of digital solutions in health and welfare systems- and the need for evidence.
Digital health solutions have evolved rapidly over the last 20 years and have recently been accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic. There is no doubt that digital health solutions have transformed health and social care systems and our lives dramatically. However, the evolution of research design and methodologies to perform timely and robust evaluations to provide evidence have not kept pace. In most cases there is a confusion for technology developers, payers, decision makers, professionals and end-users on how evidence should be addressed when implementing Digital health solutions.
In this seminar we will discuss why evidence is needed when implementing digital solutions in health and welfare systems.
