Application for an exchange period
Application for exchange studies at Mälardalen University is handled by the International Division. In these pages, we have gathered detailed information on the process to follow when applying for an exchange period.
Your application
It is extremely important that you submit a complete application so that there are no delays in the processing and assessment of your application by the schools of the university. An incomplete application may cause delays in your admission to Mälardalen University.
To be accepted for an exchange period you must make a Complete Application i.e. submit an online application as well as send in these required documents:
- Application Form (printout of online application PDF)
- One passport photo attached to the application. Please, do not use staples.
- Learning Agreement
- Transcript of Records
- CV (Curriculum Vitae)
Please note that ONLY students from our partner institutions can apply for an exchange! You can apply for an exchange period at Mälardalen University if there is an active agreement between your university and us.
In order to be admitted as an exchange student at Mälardalen University, your home university should let us know about your nomination for an exchange period at our university, then, we will contact you with more detailed information on how to submit an application for your study period.
