How to get to the University

By Car

Eskilstuna: Depart from the E20 freeway at Årby (follow sign towards "centrum"). Follow Västergatan straight on until you pass the bridge over Eskilstuna ån. Tund right in the roundabout to Hamngatan. Turn left in the roundabout to Drottninggatan. Parking is located in the behind the University (can be reached via Nygatan).

Västerås: Depart from the E18 freeway at Rocklundamotet (exit 132). Take Vasagatan toward "centrum". After ca 700 meters, turn left to the University. Parking is available both in front of and befind the University building.

By Train

Eskilstuna: The University is located a five minute walk from Eskilstuna Railroad station. Travelling by train to Eskilstuna from:
Stockholm - 1 hour
Västerås - 32 minutes
Örebro - 1 hour

Västerås: The University is located a five minute walk from Västerås Railroad station. Travelling by train to Västerås from:
Stockholm - 1 hour
Eskilstuna - 32 minutes
Örebro - 54 minutes

By Bus

Eskilstuna: Regional buses to Resecentrum by Eskilstuna Railroad station or city buses 1, 2, 11, 16,17,19 to Drottninggatan.

Västerås: City buses 10, 17, 19 from Västerås Railroad station to the Högskolan-bus stop.

By Air

The closest airports are:

Västerås airport, approx 5 km east of Västerås city centre, at Hässlö. You can take Bus 941 to and from central Västerås.

Stockholm Arlanda airport, located between Stockholm and Uppsala. You can take the train from Arlanda to Västerås, which takes about 1,5 hours.
