Andreas Ryve
Andreas Ryve is Professor of Mathematics Education and the Director of the research group M-TERM (Mälardalen Team of Educational Researchers in Mathematics).
M-TERM is engaged in two major research programs focused on design research together with municipalities and examinations of school-based teacher education and curriculum materials in Finland and Sweden. These two programs involve six senior researchers and 12 doctoral students in mathematics education.
In March 2011 Ryve's article "Discourse research in mathematics education: A critical evaluation of 108 journal articles" was published in Journal for Research in Mathematics Education. Ryve is a member of the Editorial board of Educational Studies in Mathematics. During the academic year of 2009/2010 Ryve was a Visiting researcher at University of Oxford.
