At Mälardalen University Didactics is a overall node for research and teaching in the Didactics in Science and Engineering, Mathematic didactics, Language didactics, Preschool didactics and Educational theory.

Focus is especially on inter-cultural settings and communication related to both teacher training and education more generally. Here are thirty senior researchers, including seven professors and twenty graduate students at two graduate schools. Several of the professors are internationally established and participate in international research networks.
