This course will give basic know-how on significant structural problems in design of aeroplanes and helicopters. Problems connected to operations, maintenance and repair will be discussed. It will also give basic insight into the functions of construction elements and theories for structural analysis, including computer programmes. Basic know-how on actual materials in aircraft design will be given in parallell with structures.
Aircraft Structures and Materials I 7,5 credits or equivalent.
