Telephone

Public telephones are easy to find all over both Eskilstuna and Västerås. To call from most pay-phones you will need a phone card or a credit card. Phone cards are sold at many places, e.g. kiosks and supermarkets.

If you would like to have your own private telephone, contact the telephone companies. Be prepared to deposit approximately 5000 SEK unless you are a Swedish citizen.
You can easily purchase a mobile phone at electronic stores. You can often get the telephone to a low price if you sign up for a determined time with a net provider. You can also buy net access at the stores to fit you own mobile phone.
