Admissions

The national application period for spring term 2010 opens 15 september and is designed for applicants holding a citizenship in the EU/EEA area as well as from citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA area with a valid residence permit for Sweden. Applications from citizens without a valid residence permit for Sweden will be disregarded by Mälardalen University.

International applicants outside the EU/EEA area are referred to the international application period which has a timetable adjusted to the visa and residence permit procedures. For further information please visit our website www.mdh.se where information will be released during the autumn.

Applications to courses and programs are made on the website studera.nu. Final application date for the autumn term 2009 was 15 April. You can still make a late application to some of the courses on studera.nu but it will be processed after the regular applications (submitted in time).

Final application date to the spring term 2010 is 15 October.

Basic rules for application

  • Only one application per person/applicant (if more than one, only the one with the most recent date will count).
  • You can only apply for one semester at a time.
  • You can only be admitted to one programme or to courses equivalent to 45 credits of full-time study per semester (15 credits for the summer semester).
  • Alternative choices, that exceed the limit above, will be ignored.
