Approved leave from studies
A student can apply for and be granted a temporary interruption on an undergraduate program if there are special reasons.
A temporary interruption is an interruption of studies at an undergraduate program that has been reported by the student to the university. Special reasons for continuing with the studies on the program after the interruption can be social, medical or other reasons for example childcare, compulsory military service or student union assignments. Applying for a temporary interruption of studies is possible from the second term on an undergraduate program. The interruption has to be for a whole term and you can only be granted for two terms at time.
