Sign up for the exam in the Student portal

Registration for the exam is mandatory. If you haven't signed up in time, you will not be able to write the exam. The easiest way to register is through the Student portal. It lists all your current exams. All students at Mälardalen University have access to the Student portal.

You must register no later than ten calendar days prior to the time of writing for your application to be valid.

Looking for old exams?

Are you in need of old exams? There are two ways to get hold of them.

If your lecturer uses Blackboard in this course you read, then it is possible that he or she posted old exams there.

Another option is to ask your academic expedition. There, you can also pick the exams you have written. You can find the link to the academies' expeditions below.

Looking for the academic calendar

The academic year at Mälardalen University consists of two semesters, the fall and the spring semester. There are no official breaks during either semester but normally some 10 - 14 days around Christmas are lecture-free. Keep in mind that you may need to prepare for example group work for a paper during that period.
