Please observe that:

• Only students and staff at Malardalen University and students registered at other Swedish universities, with valid library cards, can make interlibrary loans.
• Inter-library loans can only be requested for material that is not to be found at Malardalen University Library.
• Material ordered by students and teachers by inter-library loan must be relevant to education or teaching. Orders made by other staff must be relevant to work tasks.

Collecting and returning interlibrary loans

Notification that material is available for collection is sent by e-mail.

Inter-library loans not ordered through Malardalen University Library must be returned by the borrower. For these loans the borrower has the full responsibility.

Loan period & policies

For material on loan from external libraries the lending conditions of the lending library applies first. Charges for replacement of lost inter-library loans will be those required by the library to which the material belongs.

Costs

Ordering of books/reports within the Nordic countries is free of charge. The moment you order a copy of an article, you undertake to pay the costs according to our pricelist. The cost is paid when the articles are collected at the library.

Students are entitled to have home deliveries of articles against a fee. Students who choose to have home deliveries of articles must pay the fee for ordered articles at the library as soon as possible.
