Lars Asplund
Lars Asplund is Professor in Computer Science at Mälardalen University since 2001. He received his PhD in Physics in 1977 from Uppsala University.
rom 2001 Lars has been working as professor and was one of the driving forces behind Robotdalen, and created 2003 the first Civilingenjörsprogram in Robotics in Sweden, and Lars has been the leader of that program. Among projects that have been well know the following can be mentioned: Dasher – a running robot; Roony, a Lunar Rover; Ralf II, an underwater robot; Robocygne, a dancing swan robot.
