The research area Innovation and Product Realization builds bridges between disciplines as engineering, innovation, information design and industrial design. The idea is that the different disciplines and work practices can merge to create better products, processes and services and what it requires from participating actors concerning flexibility, openness, communication skills and changes in mindsets. The research is conducted in close cooperation with industry and organizations and is of high relevance to the academy as well as to the surrounding society. We cooperate with other universities, institutes and companies in other parts of Sweden but also in the UK, Italy, US and India.
Our post graduate school within Innovation and Design offers a post graduate education which combines personal development with academic stringency. We also take pride in designing a stimulating physical milieu with labs and studios.
