Condition Based Maintenance , Condition Based Maintenance Introducing lean manufacturing increases the concern about equipment availability. As a result, the demand for effective maintenance is significantly increased. Condition based maintenance (CBM) acts as one solution to stay competitive.
Objectives
- Develop and implement an effective and efficient condition based maintenance for the manufacturing company.
Current status
- Study performed in strategic maintenance management (The result is presented in the submitted paper in COMADEM conference, Finland).
- Study performed to present an introductory review of CBM practice applied in the manufacturing industry and the current status of CBM at Volvo GTO sites is mapped (The result is presented in the submitted paper in ICPR conference, Brazil).
- Start up a CBM pilot project at Volvo GTO Köping.
Planned activities
- Follow up the CBM pilot project at Volvo GTO Köping.
