Sylvia Olsson is a behavioral scientist with a master's degree in psychology. She began working at Mälardalen University in 2003 in psychology. Since 2006 Ishe have worked as a lecturer in social work at Mälardalen University. She mainly work with commissioned programs in cooperation with local governments in Södermanland and Västmanland. She teach mainly in professional conduct and approach but also in other areas such as methodology and philosophy of science.

Since August 2012, she started a PhD program at Mälardalen University in the area of ​​health and welfare.
