About me - Sharareh Akhavan
I am a senior lecturer at Mälardalen University, School of Health, Care and Social Welfare, and have studied Biomedical Science and Public Health at Karolinska Institutet.
I wrote my PhD. thesis on “The health and working conditions of female immigrants in Sweden” in 2006. I am teaching at the University of Skövde and Mälardalen University, and working on several research projects related to health, gender and ethnicity.
