Nordman is a network to promote exchange of experiences and ideas within subject areas of Nursing and Health Care. The network consists of seven Nordic and Baltic higher education institutions.
The Nordman network is supported by Nordplus Higher Education Programme (Nordplus HE). Every year the network is providing teacher and student mobility supported by grant from Nordplus HE. The ambition is to increase student mobility in theoretical studies. Seven network courses have been organized by the network since 1998, all supported by Nordplus HE.
Marjo Palovaara, JAMK Jyväskylä University of applied sciences, Finland, takes over as Network Coordinator in 2012 from Åke Lennander.

The cooperation partners consists of seven institutes of higher education, and the agreement is between these Nordic institutes of higher education.

Five intensive courses (week-long courses for students and teachers with a specific topic) and two seminars for teachers have been arranged with good results. In addition to these courses and seminars, annual network meetings are arranged.
