Notification

If there is cause to suspect that a student has committed a disciplinary offense, the Vice-Chancellor of the University shall be promptly notified. Such suspicion must have an objective foundation, but the threshold is low. Merely suspicion with very little factual support may be sufficient to warrant notification.

Prompt notification means that disciplinary matters are to be given high priority. The requirement generally means that notification to the Vice-Chancellor must not be delayed while, for example, a departmental board that cannot assemble at short notice is informed about the matter.

Notification is sent by ordinary mail to the Head Registrar at Registrator, rektors kansli, Västerås, or by e-mail: registrator@mdh.se
