FUSION Erasmus Mundus

FUSION is an Erasmus Mundus Project which develops a broad cooperation and exchange in science and engineering between Europe and Asia. Mälardalen University is one of the European nodes in the project.

Professor Dr. Sergei Silvestrov, Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, is the coordinator and the main contact for the Mälardalen University node.

FUSION – Featured eUrope and South asIa mObility Network is an ERASMUS MUNDUS project, coordinated by Bournemouth University , UK. It aims to foster partnerships of emerging Asian countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, China, India, and Thailand) with European countries (Bulgaria, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, and UK) to reinforce the existing collaborations developed through the previous EU funded projects. The key objective of the consortium is to enhance the capacity for international cooperation by facilitating transfer of people, know-how, culture and best practice in training the next generation of researchers and academic staff. The first cohort will start motilities in 2014.
 
The call for the 2nd cohort was launched on the 1st of October and will end on the 15th of December 2014.
