To become a new Doctor you must have defended your thesis before the end of the year

Are you a doctoral student and wish to take part in the conferment ceremony as a new doctor at the upcoming Academic Ceremony? Please bear in mind then that you must have completed your third-cycle studies. The public defence of your thesis must also have been completed, and all your courses finished and registered before the end of the year. This is in accordance with a decision by the Dean on 13 September 2012. At the Academic Ceremony a diploma, doctor’s hat, and doctor’s ring will be presented to all the University’s new doctors.
