About me
My name is Eva Nordlander (former surname Ericson) and I am, since 2009, a PhD student in energy and environmental engineering at the department of Sustainable Development of Technology and Society, Mälardalen University.
My research
My research is focused on improving the energy efficiency of the biogas production process. My focus within this area have been to model the process to be able to predict the amount of biogas produced. I have so far used two different approaches to modeling the process, statistical models and theoretical models. I have also studied how the energy efficiency of the biogas plant can be calculated.
Research projects I participate in:
- ABOWE (Implementing Advanced Concepts for Biological Utilization of Waste)
- Biogas co-operation with China
Finished research project I have participated in:
- BioGasOpt (completed)
- (Regional Mobilization of Sustainable Waste-to-Energy production)
