Find agreements with Open Access with help from SciFree

As an MDU employee you have access to the search tool Sci Free. National agreements have been made with several of the larger publishing houses. The search tool SciFree lists all journals within these agreements. The agreements allow OA publishing with reduced fees and in most cases, totally free publishing.

Researchers of MDU can publish OA with financial support from University Library.

You can do this in two ways:

1. Search for journals in SciFree. No direct application to the University Library is needed. In the publishing process the publisher will identify you as an employee at Mälardalen University.
2. To publish in OA journals that are not listed in the national agreements researchers can apply for money directly from University Library. For this the applicant must be the corresponding author of the publication.
