Your loans

You can handle your loans and reservations via your library account.

Log in to your library:

Your library-account

Keep an eye on your due dates, renew your loans and check your reservations.
You will need a library card number or a Swedish social security number and a PIN code.

How to renew your loans

Check the box (Renewal) by the chosen book, click "Renew".
Books with reservations can't be renewed.

How to get an e-mail reminding you shortly before the due date

To activate this function:

  1. Log in to the online library catalog, click the link "Personal data" in the menu, thereafter "Change your data"
  2. Check the box "Overdue warning" (at the bottom of the page)
  3. Please check that your e-mail address is correct and active
  4. Click "Save"

How to make reservations

You can reserve books in the online catalog if you have an activated PIN-code connected to your library account.

  1. Open BOOK-IT
  2. Search and find the book of your choice
  3. Click "Reserve"
  4. Enter your library card number or Swedish social security number and your PIN code
  5. Choose the library where you wish to collect the book
  6. If you wish, choose an end date for the reservation (not compulsory).
  7. Click "OK".

How to receive reservation texts to your cellphone

You can choose to receive a text message when your reserved books are ready to be picked up. It is free of charge.

  1. Log in to the online catalog BOOK-IT
  2. Click the link "Personal data" and "Change your data".
  3. Check or change your cellphone number
  4. Mark the box named: "Text message"
  5. Click "Save"

How to change your PIN code

  1. Open the online catalog BOOK-IT.
  2. Choose "Personal data" from the menu.
  3. Click "Change PIN code".
  4. Enter library card number or social security numer and your PIN code.
  5. Enter a new PIN code.
  6. Confirm new PIN code.
  7. Click "OK".
  8. Click "Exit" in order to terminate your personal transactions.
