CHRISTIAN RUNIUS: I'M MY OWN BRAND

MDH-alumni and Industrial Designer Christian Runius, who is currently self-employed, has just recently received the "plastovasion awards".  

 

Christian has had a challenge with the marketing and selling side of the business. "Being and artist" he says, creating is what you like to do and what you do best. However, as an Industrial Designer creating is just one part of the job.

ERIK RIDMAN: REASON TO COMMUNICATE!

- I've always been very goal-driven, says Erik Ridman. It's only that the goals have changed over time. But I always know what I want to do. At least for now.

 

Erik is an impressing figure, standing tall with a cup of coffee in his hand. He stands in a large room amongst his colleagues and gives directions to a fellow employee. He works as a project manager at an advertising agency in Stockholm and has been doing so for three years.

MARIA LINDBLAD: THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD!

It’s not one of the best jobs, it is the best job you can have, says Maria Lindblad. This is something she is totally certain about. In June it’s 10 years since she took her midwifery degree at Mälardalen University (MDH) and she has not regretted her choice of profession even once.

 

In 2011 Sweden celebrated the 300 year anniversary of the first midwife who was officially trained to in this profession. That being a midwife still is a dream career is something Maria Lindblad is willing to testify.

SARA FORSLUND: ARTIST AND GLOBETROTTER

- It’s an indescribable feeling when you manage to convey a behaviour or a sense of a character that you’re set to interpret, says Sara Forslund artist, actor and alumni from Mälardalen University.

The interest in acting was born during an intensive course in Glasgow after which Sara Forslund chose to begin her studies in “Theater's creative processes” at Mälardalen University (MDH). This was in the autumn of 2007. Since then her interest has developed into a passion. The passion for theater and film now takes her to New York for further studies at the world-renowned New York Film Academy.
